Little Tents...

"Hide me under the shadow of your wings."
prays the Psalmist.
Sheltered under the shadow of the "Little Tent"
prayed B.
"Baruch atah adonoi, elohenu, melech ha olam asher kidshanu b'mistzvotav ve-tzevanu layitatef b'tzitit" pray the Jewish as wrap themselves in their tallis.
English translation:"Blessed are you, the Lord our God, ruler of the universe, who has made us holy with His commandments and commanded us to wrap ourselves in fringes."
Prayer should be nothing more and nothing less than just this... taking shelter under the almighty's wings; wrapping yourself in a prayer shawl.

Hey! 0_o That's me! Kewl! And I have faithfully been praying with the tallis. I love the feeling of security....it truly does feel as though I am taking shelter under the wings of God. Indeed, the whole world seems to stop, and takes a new perspective to the words "Be still and know that I am God." With the prayer shawl, I can be still and I will know God. I truly cannot thank you enough for letting me borrow it.
