SANCTUARY
a place for laughter. a place for prayer. a place of refuge. a place of peace. a place of joy. a place of communion. a place for conversation. a place of sanctuary. a place for st. paul's youth and friends.

I know this has absolutely nothing to do with this blog post, but I don't know where else to put it. I have a couple of questions for Sally about the book she gave to me: The Practice of the Presence of God by Brother Lawrence.
Q#1.(page 15) "Sometimes God even took our brother by the hand and led him before the heavenly court, to show off His lowly servant whom He was pleased to honor." I am having trouble with the true meaning of this. Is it supposted to be interpreted exactly how it is? Is it a vision? A metaphor?
Q#2. (pg 19) "Brother Lawrence's heartfelt goal was to think of nothing but God." Is this a monk thing, or a thought for everyone to follow? As to the latter, how can you fall in love, but still think of God every single waking moment of your life? I don't get it!!
~Surely I'll have more questions in the future
